The World Trade Center in New Orleans reports that Louisiana exports are up 9.3% half way through the hear. The export growth has been spurred largely by agriculture, gas and oil goods - making Louisiana rank number 6 out of all 50 states. "After a slower year in 2013 and a currently sluggish national export growth at 3 percent, Louisiana's midyear numbers are very exciting. Exports from our state are up 9.3 percent over the last year and outpacing the national average," said Dominik Knoll, CEO of the World Trade Center."
